Sports have learned ... the man went to the police at Arrowhead Stadium at 10:30 p.m. - just moments after Adams pushed him during the Raiders' 30-29 loss.

Authorities tell us the man claimed he was the victim of an assault. They said he told them he was injured ... even though they "didn't think they were life-threatening."

Police said they are investigating everything — and once the investigation is complete, detectives will "coordinate with the applicable city or state prosecutor to determine any charges that may apply."
For his part, Adams apologized for his role in the incident - once in his locker after the game, then again on Twitter.
"I want to say sorry to him for that because it's just sad mixed with him literally just walking in front of me," said the 29-year-old, who signed a five-year, $140 million contract this offseason with Vegas. "I shouldn't have reacted like that, but that's how I reacted in the first instance. So, I want to apologize to him about that."

TMZ Sports reported that the photographer who pushed the Raiders star receiver immediately went to the police at Arrowhead Stadium and filed a police report, claiming to be a victim of assault.
He told officers he had "non-life-threatening injuries" and was taken to a hospital, the report said.

Adams took out his frustration in Kansas City on photographers after the Raiders' heartbreaking 30-29 loss to the Chiefs. Las Vegas led the game 17-0 at one point, and the loss dropped Adams' Raiders to 1-4 in his first season with the team.

"I want to apologize to that guy, somebody ran off the field, and he ran, like jumped off the field in front of me and I hit him, pushed him a little bit, and he went on the ground," Adams. said after the game.
"So I want to apologize to him because it's just sad mixed with him literally just walking on me.
"I shouldn't have reacted like that, but that's how I reacted at first. So, I also want to apologize to him."
The Raiders last gasp in the game came on a fourth-and-1 deep pass from Derek Carr that sailed well over the head of Adams and Hunter Renfrow after the two receivers collided during their route.
